Two weeks – five victories!

The last two weeks have been great for the Ducks! C’est biiiieeeeennnnnnnn….Hard work, determination and smart play have brought a windfall of victories for all teams. We are seeing the fruits of our labour.

On May 28th, the club hosted its first triple header of 2012 with the men playing the Montreal XV’s and the women, the Montreal Barbarians. A beautiful sunny Saturday for rugby with a sweet taste of victory for all teams.

On Saturday June 2, the women’s team was off but both men’s team travelled to our Nationals capital to take on the Ottawa Beavers. The club was three men short of two full sides of fifteen, but thanks to some solid juggling of subs by coach Morad and coach Gilles, the Ducks has had their way with one of the dominate clubs in the league. Welcome back Charlie Brooks – you were a complete menace out there!

The only issue with last Saturday? The local Beer Store outlet closest to the field closed at 5:00 p.m!
